Preparing Medical Supplies for Ukraine

A fantastic team of volunteers in Texas is helping to get our container of medical aid shipped from the US to Ukraine!

Today, Ed’s Friends Ukraine received a shipment of medical supplies worth over $100k (we are still in the process of counting inventory), from the Smith & Nephew company which is a producer of medical technology focused on wound management products for repair, regeneration, and replacement of soft and hard tissue.

We have been working hard to get these supplies over the last month, and it’s great to see them arrive. Next, we will finish repacking the cargo and ship the container from Texas to Ukraine so they can be used to treat wounded Ukrainians in the heavily contested areas of eastern Ukraine.

Thank you to Ukrainian elementary school students who donated their paintings to support their art teacher and help pay for these shipping costs. Gratitude to our partners in the medical field, our volunteers, and our donors. Gratitude to the Dudar family. Special thanks to John Towne and Dr. Tom Knox for making this possible. You are all saving many lives.

Please support our activities with a donation. We still need funding to cover the remaining shipping costs of this container. A donation can be made right here at www.edsfriends.org.
