Driving Towards the Danger

My friend Alex Sasin, and his friends, drive into Russian-occupied parts of Ukraine, from which many Ukrainian residents wish to flee but have no means to escape. The deadly combat zones prevent any humanitarian relief of large organizations from reaching those war torn areas, quick enough to save the suffering people.

Despite the dangers, Alex and his friends decide to risk their own lives to go where the residents are most in need of help, at the time they need it, to bring critical aid and evacuate those they can.

I am happy to support Alex in his heroic undertakings. With help from my friend Jeffrey Hrtmn and his Ukrainian Action, “Ed’s Friends” provided a truck for Alex to use on his following rescue expeditions. Alex and his friends are heroes of mine.
